Method 1: Delete Account Inside the App (Instant)
If you have the Akasha app installed on your device, you can delete your account and associated data immediately:
- Open the Akasha application.
- Go to your Profile screen (accessible from the bottom navigation or menu).
- Tap on Account Settings / Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision. If prompted, re-authenticate with your password or Google Sign-In.
- Your account, authentication record, profile data, and saved trip history will be deleted immediately.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Web / Email (Without App)
If you uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, you can submit a manual deletion request by sending an email to our support team.
Please send an email with the following details:
- Recipient: rohitdeshmukh1918@gmail.com
- Subject:
Account Deletion Request - Akasha - Registered Email: The email address linked to your Akasha account (or Google account email used for sign-in).
Manual requests are verified and processed within 7 to 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once complete.
Data Types Deleted vs Retained
When your account deletion is processed, the following actions occur:
